ARTURIA is a company which specializes in the development of innovative music software. Located in Grenoble, France, ARTURIA was founded in 1999 by Frédéric Brun and Gilles Pommereuil, both INPG-qualified engineers.
The first product, Storm Music Studio, was released in January 2000. It is a music composition and recording studio software. It emulates a professional environment, yet is as simple and user-friendly as a video game.
The second one, released in March 2003, is a faithful reproduction of the legendary Moog Modular System 3C: the Moog Modular V. The MMV is working both as a stand-alone software and as a virtual instrument.
The third one, the CS-80V, was launched at the AES 2003 in New York. The CS-80V is a software emulation of the legendary Yamaha CS-80, which is considered by many as "the ultimate polyphonic" synthesizer.
Released at the NAMM 2004, the minimoog V is the fourth product. This is a recreation of the Minimoog, probably the most famous synthesizer ever.
The ARP 2600 V, the fifth product, was launched at the NAMM 2005 in Anaheim. This is a faithful reproduction of the ARP 2600, one of the finest analog synthesizers ever made.
For the Musikmesse 2005, ARTURIA will release its sixth product called BRASS. BRASS is the physical modelling of three wind instruments: a trumpet, a saxophone and a trombone. This product, developed in partnership with Ircam, a Paris-based laboratory, is highly innovative.
