You might get the impression you are looking at a regular analog style synthesizer. Nothing could be more right - nothing could be more wrong. Based on a legacy of inventing virtual analog synthesizers for almost 15 years, Clavia takes the next generation of lead synthesizers to the next level.

The Nord Wave gives you traditional analog sounds that interact and coexist with pretty much anything you want; by combining analog, FM-synthesis, wavetable and sampled waveforms - you can use literally any standard wave file - it is a standard sample player and an analog synthesizer - and so much more in between

Featuring the best of Clavia’s award-winning technologies, the Nord Stage hosts three different instrument sections - Organ, Piano and Synth - plus an extensive effects section. You can use two sounds of each Section simultaneously - that’s two Organ manuals, two Synths, and two Pianos.

These can be combined in any split or layered configuration you need for your performance. The Stage’s user interface is designed from a basic concept: All vital functions are represented on the front panel - easy to access, and never further away than a press of a single button. After more than 20 years of experience in designing instruments to be used by professional musicians, we know how important it is to make the technology completely transparent for the user.

With the Nord Stage you only need to focus on your performance, which means never having to struggle with the technology. Our patented Pitch Stick and Modulation Wheel are included for maximum musical expression. A top-of-the-line weighted hammer-action keyboard makes you feel that the Stage’s sound is balancing at the tip of your fingers, completely under your control. Our efficient Morph Grouping technique is also included, allowing you to assign sound and effects parameters to one physical controller. All together, the Nord Stage is a musical, reliable, efficient, and roadworthy companion that delivers results, and provides the means to express your passion for playing. Great tools are simple ones, and the Electro2 is a great tool for musicians. By focusing on just a few features, we’ve avoided spreading ourselves thin with unnecessary technological gadgets. Sometimes the best tool isn’t a Swiss Army Knife. There are certain unique electric pianos that have been staples of music for decades, and they are more useful now than they’ve ever been. These instruments are unique, and they have a soul all their own.Remember that great organ sound from Procul Harum’s “Whiter Shade of Pale”? Or the soulful electric piano from Supertramp’s “The Logical Song”? What about the Clavinet from Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition”? These classic instruments have inspired generations of players and songwriters, and they continue to gain more and more admirers every day. Now all these instrument have one thing in common: the Nord Electro2.

The Perfect FitThe Electro2 is available in three sizes: 73-key, 61-key, and a rack module. The Electro2 73 is the first choice of piano players who need a little more than the usual short range of standard stage pianos, but less weight. Coming in at around 22 lb., the 73 key version is modeled from the range of a classic electric piano, from which the Electro2 takes one of its extremely rich and accurate sounds. For the musician on the go, the Nord Electro2 61 is ideal. Sometimes stage space can be compromised, but not your standards of quality. Why trade sounds for portability? The Electro2 61 features the same waterfall keys and touch response as the Electro2 73, as well as all the same sounds and features. As players, you tend to collect a number of synths and stage pianos over the years. Sometimes all you need is that right sound, but prefer a familiar axe to play. For you, the Electro2 Rack offers all the elegant sounds of the Electro2 series in a rack-mountable module.

ORGAN SECTION

  • Full polyphony
  • 9 electric drawbars with memory functionality
  • The drawbars of Electro 2 are represented by up/down buttons and LED bar graphs instead of the ordinary mechanical drawbars. This gives you a big advantage: when you change presets, the correct drawbar settings are shown immediately by the LEDs.
  • 9 drawbar presets in ROM and 9 user configurable drawbar settings.
  • Effects: Swell (the characteristic B-3 volume pedal function). Percussion (2nd, 3rd, normal/soft, fast/slow). Chorus/Vibrato (C1, C2, C3/V1, V2, V3).
  • Keyboard Split: Makes it possible to play an organ sound with two different drawbar settings (Lower and Upper manuals) on the internal keyboard.
  • Dual manuals - MIDI Split: Nord Electro 2 is designed to support an extra MIDI keyboard in addition to its own. This makes it possible to play the Nord Electro 2 as a 2-manual (Lower/Upper manuals) organ with different drawbar settings for each manual.

Some distinct organ sounds have remained popular throughout the decades of pop and rock & roll music - soulful sounds that breathe and growl as found only in heavy, bulky vintage instruments. Apart from difficulties in sourcing, restoring, and maintaining these vintage organs, their sheer size and weight make them anything but ideal for the gigging musician - especially when you add out-board effects, amplifiers and speakers Now Clavia brings you the very best of those classic setups in a single package.

The dual manual Nord C1 Combo Organ comprises three types of vintage organs: a classical tonewheel, Vox* Continental and Farfisa* Compact Deluxe, all carefully modeled from their originals. Also featuring our famous tube style overdrive, rotating speaker simulation, delay, reverb and 3-band EQ effects, the Nord C1 will tailor sounds for your body, mind and soul.

The original Nord Lead and Nord Lead 2 are among the most popular synthesizers ever built. Debuting in 1995, the first Nord Lead virtual analog synthesizer took the music world by storm. It instantly became an industry standard and takes a place among the most revered classic synthesizers. Its warm analog sound coupled with cutting-edge digital technology moved the Nord Lead into a “leading” position in the synthesizer community. Musicians from all over the world loved its simplicity, intuitive design, and its musicality and expression offered with its virtual analog concept.

The Lead 2 improved upon the original Nord Lead, including expanded polyphony. A decade later, the Nord Lead, and its descendant the Lead 2, are still among the most popular synths ever built. Used worldwide on stage and in studios, the Nord Lead series has contributed to the signature sounds of some of the most popular musicians and producers known today ... and we want to keep it that way! The Nord Lead 2X has the same characteristic sound and functions as the Nord Lead 2, except for some very nice improvements:

No doubt, computers have become a natural part of today’s music production. The process of editing sounds and sequences is so much easier from a computer screen. Still keyboard players feel the need for portable instruments. Nord Modular G2 offers you the best of both worlds and provides an effective solution for the working musician. While remaining true to the traditional modular synthesis concept it manages to go where no modular synthesizer has ever gone before.

THE BEST OF TWO WORLDS
The G2 concept is based on a stand alone hardware keyboard with a freely configurable sound synthesis architecture and a software user interface (Editor) made for Mac OSX and PC. The sound engine in the G2 synthesizer runs on a group of digital signal processors (DSP’s), together with high speed – high resolution AD and DA converters. A G2 sound is named a Patch and is made with virtual modules and cables. Simply ‘drag & drop’ modules and cables directly on the computer screen to create your own G2 sounds. A Patch can be modeled after an existing synth or it can be the synthesizer of your dreams.

THE MODULAR SYSTEM

  • Description: Hardware synthesizer and PC/Mac editing software working seamlessly together.
  • Sound Generation: Modular synthesis – freely configurable sound architecture. Combine Modules into a Patch (sound) in any desired structure, virtually without limitations.
  • Sound Hierarchy: A patch is divided into two sections:
The Voice area (VA) holds the polyphonic part of the sound.
The Effect area (FX) holds the monophonic part of the sound.
  • 8 Variations per patch for fast recall of favorite settings.
  • Sound Modules: Over 160 Modules organized in 16 categories.
  • Audio Quality: True 24 bit processing system with 96 kHz sampling rate.
  • Audio Effects: Totally free configuration of effects via the dedicated Effect Area.
